In my first solo exhibition since my graduating with a BFA from California College of the Arts in 2019, I use paint as a vessel to share my lived experience as a psychic medium and spiritual healer.

 

My work travels the space between body and consciousness, a living tether to and from the material and the spirit.

Consciousness is both trapped inside the body and floating. Peering at it from the outside. I call on others with one foot in the spirit world to join me. 

The spirit can leave the body but still uses its eyes to see - how strong is the tether?
